Privacy Basics

This is a summary of the Crescendo Interactive, Inc. ("Crescendo") and GiftLegacy policies for personal information and data. The full details are available in our privacy policy.

  1. If you are a GiftLegacy Subscriber who creates a survey, you own your respondent data. Your surveys and any responses are private. We do not sell individual responses and do not use those responses, except in the limited set of circumstances outlined in the Privacy Policy or for the limited purpose of improving CresSurvey.
  2. To enable its friends to take a survey, a Subscriber may upload email address lists. Crescendo is custodian of that information. It does not sell or use the email addresses except as directed by the Subscriber and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  3. Crescendo provides CresSurvey and hosts the Subscriber website. The Subscriber who creates the survey owns and controls respondent data. The Subscriber is the organization that offered the survey. If you have questions about a survey, please contact your Subscriber. Your Subscriber also has a Privacy Policy.
  4. Crescendo analyzes respondents' page views, response rates and other data to improve CresSurvey. We may review the questions and responses to enhance the Subscriber and user experience.
  5. Crescendo uses cookies to enhance the user experience on GiftLegacy websites. A cookie is a small file placed on your computer when you browse a Crescendo website. They assist in website functions, enable us to track visitors, and may be used to optimize marketing campaigns. You can use your browser settings to change permissions for cookies.
